The MZ-120 fully automatic cartoning machine mainly consists of six parts: plate feeding tank chain, box suction mechanism, plate pushing mechanism, box feeding mechanism, carton silo and carton output.
The MZ-120 cartoning machine is suitable for cartoning of pharmaceutical aluminum-plastic plates, medicine bottles, cosmetics, food and similar items. It can automatically complete the folding of instructions, opening of cartons, cartoning of items, printing of batch numbers, sealing of boxes and other tasks. The machine adopts PLC control and photoelectric monitoring of the movements of various parts. If an abnormality occurs during operation, it can automatically stop and display the cause so as to eliminate the fault in time. The machine can also be used alone or in conjunction with blister packaging machines and other equipment to form a joint production line.
2. Main Features:
a. Easy operation:
Adopting PLC control and touch screen display operation, it can accurately display the production status, and can timely modify the technical parameters according to the product packaging requirements. It can stop the machine in case of fault alarm and accurately reflect the cause of the fault. The speed of the main motor is controlled by the frequency converter. The high-speed control system uses an incremental angle encoder instead of the traditional cam control, which has precise motion positioning control function.
b. Safety device:
The equipment has an alarm function. If the operation is wrong, it will automatically stop running according to the set control value; if the equipment exceeds or falls below the set value, the equipment will automatically alarm. In addition, multiple emergency stop devices are set. Activating the emergency stop switch can turn off all pneumatic and electric control functions, and the key signs are eye-catching. In addition, an overload torque protector is designed at the power input and input part, so that the machine will stop immediately when it encounters overload during operation. In addition, a tempered glass safety shielding device is added to the equipment to further protect the operator's safety requirements.
c. Stable and reliable operation: The main actuators are detected by various photoelectric switches and centrally controlled by the programmable logic controller (PLC) to achieve coordinated and consistent operation of the whole machine. When an error occurs at the current station, the photoelectric sensor sends a signal, the next station stops working, and an alarm occurs. When an error occurs at the next station, the photoelectric sensor sends a signal, and the front station stops working. Therefore, the machine has a simple structure and reliable operation, ensuring product quality and improving production efficiency.

4. Cartoning machine main drive
The drive system is mainly composed of the main motor (1.5KW), transmission sprocket set, bevel gear set and cam divider. The motor adopts a torque overload protector (see Figure 10), which can realize the disengagement of the main drive motor and various transmission parts in the case of overload to protect the machine parts from damage.
The middle plate is supported by several transmission shafts, support shafts and three lead screws, suspended in the center of the machine, and can move forward and backward. In this way, it can be adjusted according to the requirements of cartons of different specifications. The rear end of the lead screw is connected with a transmission chain, which can ensure that the middle plate moves forward and backward in parallel. The box feeding chain, paper feeding chain and outlet conveyor belt are intermittently moved under the control of the cam divider.
The chain plate spacing of the box feeding chain can also be adjusted according to the width of the carton. The input end shaft of the cam divider is connected to the output shaft of the main motor with two shaft holding keys. In this way, the time of intermittent movement can be adjusted steplessly.
5. Box opening mechanism
The box opening mechanism uses double suction heads to close and open the box twice to ensure reliable box opening.

6. Plate Pushing Device
This mechanism is one of the most critical stations of the cartoning machine. Here, the boxing of the medicine plate and the instruction manual will be completed. The plate pushing mechanism is completed by a cam mechanism. The rotation of the cam drives the linear reciprocating motion of the plate pushing mechanism, so that reliable and fast plate pushing into the box can be achieved. Therefore, a set of cam motion mechanism is added to the plate pushing mechanism during the linear motion process to achieve plate pressing. The cam motion mechanism can control the lifting and lowering of the plate pushing mechanism. In this way, the plate pushing mechanism will not touch the medicine plate conveying chain plate when returning, and can press the medicine plate without causing deformation of the medicine plate when advancing.

7. Box moving mechanism
The box moving mechanism is a chain box moving mechanism, and the upper box pressing bar has pneumatic assistance, which can be opened easily and quickly for troubleshooting.
