What does a cellophane overwrapping machine do?
It wraps individual cartons or multi-box packs in transparent film and heat-seals it to give a sealed, clean finish. Overwrapping is common for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and stationery packaging.
Which wrapping films can be used?
The GDST300 and GDST450 support heat-sealable BOPP or PVC film, and the BT480 runs transparent BOPP film. Please share your film type and thickness so the setup can be confirmed.
Can tear tape be added to the wrapped pack?
Yes. Tear tape is supported on the GDST300 and BT480. Let us know the tape width and position you need.
Can the machine wrap both single cartons and bundles?
Yes. All three models handle individual cartons as well as multi-box or stacked packs. The bundle arrangement affects tooling and speed, so describe the pack formats you plan to run.
How is changeover handled for different carton sizes?
The GDST300 has recipe storage and modular tooling for changeovers in about 20 minutes. Each carton size needs suitable format parts, so list all the sizes you intend to wrap.
Can an overwrapping machine be placed after a cartoning machine?
Yes. Overwrappers are typically installed after cartoning machines, and the GDST300 is designed for integration with upstream cartoning equipment. Infeed orientation and speed are matched to your line.
