AUTOMATIC CHECKWEIGHERS

Automatic Checkweighers

Automatic inline checkweighers inspect every package, with optional rejection systems for underweight and overweight products. Compare CW600 and CZ150 for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and hardware packaging lines.

01 / OVERVIEW

Automatic Checkweighers for Inline Weight Inspection

GRAND automatic checkweighers inspect package weight inline to support quality control on production and packaging lines. Optional rejection systems separate underweight and overweight products. Select a model for your package weight, dimensions and target line speed.

High Precision

CW600

±0.5 g accuracy and up to 200 products per minute, with a 600 g maximum capacity.

Compact Inline

CZ150

60–100 products per minute, 500 g capacity and 100 product presets.

Auto Rejection

Swing arm · Air jet · Pusher · Flapper

Optional rejection systems remove underweight and overweight packs from the line.

Planning a full line? Place a checkweigher after cartoning or overwrapping and before case packing, so only on-weight packs go into shipping cases.

Checkweighing Inside a Complete Packaging Line

A checkweigher works best when it is planned with the machines around it. GRAND connects cartoning, overwrapping, checkweighing, case packing and palletizing into one coordinated workflow, with one supplier responsible for the interfaces.

FAQ / CHECKWEIGHING & INSPECTION

Checkweigher FAQs

Answers to common questions about weighing range, accuracy, speed, presets, and rejection on automatic checkweighers.

A checkweigher weighs each package inline and identifies underweight or overweight products, supporting quality control on automated production and packaging lines.

The CZ150 lists a maximum weighing capacity of 500 g with a 0.1 g scale division, and the CW600 lists a maximum of 600 g. Choose a model based on your package weight range.

The CW600 lists an accuracy of ±0.5 g. Actual accuracy depends on product weight, line speed, conveyor setup, and environmental factors such as vibration and airflow, so testing with your packages is recommended.

The CZ150 lists 60–100 products per minute, and the CW600 lists up to 200 products per minute. Actual speed depends on package size and spacing on the conveyor.

Both models support optional rejection systems to remove out-of-range packages from the line. The suitable rejection method depends on the package type and line speed.

Yes. The CZ150, for example, stores up to 100 product presets and offers adjustable conveyor speed, so different products can be selected without re-entering settings.

Our current checkweighers focus on weight inspection. If you also need metal detection or vision inspection, describe your requirements so suitable options can be discussed.
